When it is scratched, bacteria can get into the skin to cause infection at the site removed. Although highly contagious, there are ways to treat scabies.
It is important to consult a doctor. Sometimes it can be recognized by the symptoms presented, but some doctors to obtain samples of the skin by scraping below the bumps and the search for mites, eggs and waste products with the help of a microscope.
